Where do you provide architectural photography services?

I am based in Dubai, UAE, and undertake architectural photography commissions across the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC. I am also available for international projects, working with architects, developers, hospitality groups and cultural institutions.

Do you arrange permits for drone and helicopter photography?

Yes. Depending on the project, I coordinate site access, security clearances and drone or helicopter photography permits in collaboration with the client and relevant authorities, including the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), where applicable. Aerial photography requires advance planning, and approval timelines vary depending on the location, airspace restrictions and regulatory requirements.

How far in advance should I book, and when will I receive the photographs?

Booking as early as possible is recommended, particularly for large architectural projects or locations requiring special access. For aerial photography and filming, a minimum of one month's advance notice is required to coordinate the necessary permits, approvals and logistics. Final professionally edited photographs are normally delivered within 7 working days following the shoot. Expedited delivery may be arranged for project launches, publications or architectural award submissions.

Architectural Photography Experience

With extensive experience documenting landmark architecture across the Middle East, my portfolio includes three years serving as an official architectural photographer for Expo 2020 Dubai, alongside major commissions such as King Abdullah Financial District (KAFD) in Riyadh, BEEAH Headquarters in Sharjah and Dubai Opera, as well as significant cultural, hospitality and commercial developments across the GCC.

As a Fujifilm Middle East Ambassador, I specialise in high-resolution medium format architectural photography, working with the Fujifilm GFX system to capture architectural details, materials and spatial relationships with exceptional clarity and precision. This approach delivers outstanding image quality, particularly suited to large-format prints, architectural publications, exhibitions and high-end commercial campaigns.

My work has received international recognition, including the selection of my photograph of the Terra Sustainability Pavilion for the UAE's 500-dirham banknote, as well as a Certificate of Appreciation from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in recognition of my contributions to Expo 2020 Dubai.

My photography has also been featured in international architecture and design publications, as well as prestigious photography books, including Assouline's Expo 2020 Dubai, Dubai Opera: House of Cultures and Sharjah from the Sky.

With experience in developing photographic content specifically for book publishing, I approach each project with an understanding of editorial direction, visual storytelling, architectural documentation and the technical requirements of print production. From establishing a cohesive photographic narrative to capturing architectural exteriors, interiors, spatial relationships and design details, the objective is to create a comprehensive visual record that communicates the architect's vision.

Working with the Fujifilm GFX medium-format system, I deliver high-resolution imagery suitable for premium book production, fine-art printing, exhibitions and large-format reproduction, with particular attention to image quality, colour accuracy, detail and consistency throughout the publication.

How It Works

1. Brief & Planning
We discuss the project brief, define the scope, deliverables and intended image usage. I review architectural drawings and renders to prepare a tailored shot list.

2. Site Coordination & Permits
I coordinate site access, security clearances, health and safety requirements, and drone or helicopter permits where required. I work closely with clients, site management and relevant authorities to facilitate the necessary approvals and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

3. Shoot & Post-Production
I photograph exteriors, interiors, aerials and architectural details, considering natural light, golden hour and twilight to best reflect the design. Final images are carefully colour-corrected, perspective-corrected and retouched.

4. Delivery & Licensing
Final high-resolution and web-ready photographs are delivered according to the agreed project schedule. Image licensing is defined by the intended usage, duration, territories and commercial requirements, with additional licensing available upon request.
