About the Project

On foggy mornings, Ain Dubai emerges slowly above Bluewaters Island, its circular form suspended between the sea and a skyline disappearing beneath the mist. The lower structure fades from view, leaving the upper wheel traced against the soft morning light. For a brief moment, its immense scale feels almost weightless.

Photographing it from above, I am drawn to the simplicity the fog brings to the scene. Buildings and roads fall away, allowing the wheel’s geometry to become the focus. The fine lines of its steel structure and the repeating rhythm of its cabins reveal themselves gradually as the mist shifts around them.

My photographs follow these quiet changes in visibility and light. Each frame holds a different balance between what is revealed and what remains hidden, capturing Ain Dubai in the stillness of a city waking beneath the fog..
