About the Project

Designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM), the KAFD Conference Center is one of the most distinctive architectural landmarks within Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial District. Inspired by the surrounding desert landscape, its faceted roof forms a sculptural composition of angular planes, creating a dynamic relationship between architecture, structure and terrain.

My architectural photography explores the building’s distinctive geometry, material textures and interaction with natural light. Through carefully considered viewpoints and compositions, the images reveal how the Conference Center’s bold architectural form sits within the wider urban landscape of KAFD.

The series focuses on the relationship between form, light and scale, documenting a landmark building that contributes to Riyadh’s evolving architectural identity.
