Dubai Opera House
Rising beside The Dubai Fountain, Dubai Opera takes the form of a traditional dhow, a tribute to the city's trading, fishing and pearl-diving heritage. Designed by Atkins, with Janus Rostock as lead architect, its sweeping façade brings a distinctive architectural identity to Downtown Dubai.
Inside, the same visual language continues. Curved balconies surround the auditorium, while layered surfaces, architectural lines and carefully considered lighting define the interior spaces.
This photographic series explores the relationship between exterior form and interior geometry, capturing the rhythm of the curves, the architectural details and the interplay of light and shadow that give Dubai Opera its character.
