About the Project

Designed by Santiago Calatrava, the UAE Pavilion at Expo City Dubai takes its form from a falcon in flight. Its white wings and sculptural curves bring a sense of movement to the building, connecting its architectural identity with the UAE’s heritage.

Light and shadow give the pavilion a changing character throughout the day. Across its surfaces, strong lines meet fluid forms, revealing the relationship between structure, rhythm and space.

My architectural photography explores these qualities through wider views and carefully composed details. The series follows the sweep of the wings, the repetition of structural elements and the way light defines the pavilion’s form.
