About the Project

The Poland Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai was designed by Polish architectural studio WXCA in collaboration with Swiss studio Bellprat Partner. Inspired by the theme Creativity Inspired by Nature, the pavilion explored Poland's relationship with nature, innovation and cultural identity through a distinctive architectural design.

Its layered timber structure created a visually dynamic façade, complemented by a kinetic installation representing a flock of migrating birds. The movement of the installation and the rhythm of the architectural elements reflected the pavilion's central themes of mobility, nature and creativity.

This photographic series by Dany Eid documents the pavilion's architecture, focusing on its geometric forms, material textures and the changing relationship between natural light and the building's distinctive design.
