About the Project

The Japan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, themed "Where ideas meet," won the Gold Award for Exhibition Design and was one of the most popular attractions at the event. The pavilion featured an origami-inspired facade and immersive, technology-driven exhibits that celebrated Japanese culture and innovation while bridging traditions between Japan and the Middle East. The building has since been demolished, but its facade was repurposed for Expo 2025 in Osaka, Japan.
