Designed by Asif Khan Studio, the Entry Portals at Expo City Dubai are monumental gateways defined by their intricate carbon-fibre latticework. Their slender, interwoven structure creates a sense of transparency, allowing natural light to pass through and cast changing patterns of shadow across the surrounding spaces.

My architectural photography explores the relationship between structure, geometry and light through both aerial and ground-level perspectives. From the symmetry of the gateways to the delicate patterns created by their latticework, this series captures their architectural character and their relationship with the wider Expo City Dubai site.
