About the Project

Etihad Museum in Dubai is an architectural landmark dedicated to the founding of the United Arab Emirates. Designed by Moriyama & Teshima Architects, the museum stands beside the historic Union House, where the agreement establishing the UAE was signed in 1971.

Its distinctive curved roof draws inspiration from the parchment of the unification agreement, while seven sculptural columns symbolise the pens used by the founding rulers. The building combines expressive geometry, glass façades and contemporary architectural design with the historical significance of its location.

Through this photographic series, Dany Eid documents the museum's architectural identity, exploring its flowing forms, structural details, natural light and relationship with the surrounding urban landscape.
