Buhais Geology Park
About the Project
Buhais Geology Park in Sharjah brings architecture into close dialogue with the rugged landscape of Jebel Buhais. Designed by Hopkins Architects, its rounded exhibition pods take inspiration from fossilised sea urchins, connecting the building’s form to the geological history explored inside.
The textured metal cladding catches the desert light, while the curved volumes sit against the rocky terrain. My architectural photography follows these relationships through form, material and scale, exploring how the building responds to its surroundings and how light and shadow reveal its character.
