Austria Pavilion
The Austria Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, designed by querkraft Architekten, stands as a remarkable fusion of innovation, culture, and sustainability. Formed by 38 intersecting cone-shaped structures inspired by traditional Arabian wind towers, the pavilion uses natural clay materials and passive ventilation systems to achieve a self-cooling, energy-efficient environment. Its modular construction, tactile textures, and interplay of light and shadow create a sensory architectural experience that reflects Austria’s forward-thinking approach to sustainable design and environmental responsibility
