About the Project

Aldar Headquarters in Abu Dhabi is one of the UAE's most distinctive architectural landmarks, recognised for its striking circular form and contemporary design. Completed in 2010 and designed by MZ Architects, the building stands along Al Raha Beach, overlooking the surrounding waterfront.

Its two curved glass façades, connected by a narrow glazed perimeter, create an architectural form inspired by geometry and structural innovation. The building's distinctive silhouette and exposed diagrid structure make it an unmistakable feature of Abu Dhabi's modern architectural landscape.

Through this photographic series, Dany Eid documents the architectural character of Aldar Headquarters, exploring its circular geometry, reflective surfaces, structural details and relationship with the surrounding environment.
